A safe place to begin
Created by a woman in recovery, for women finding their way back to themselves.
I created this space because I know how powerful — and sometimes lonely — the journey to sobriety can feel. I'm a woman in recovery, and I'm 6 years sober.
Along the way, I learned that sobriety isn't just about putting down the drink. It's about rebuilding your life, finding yourself again, learning how to navigate the hard days, and discovering just how good life can feel on the other side.
I wanted to create the safe space I wish every woman had. A place where you can come as you are — whether you're sober curious, questioning your relationship with alcohol, in recovery, or struggling to get sober.
There is no judgment here. No perfection required. No pressure to have it all figured out. Just support, encouragement, practical tools, and a community of women who understand.
Because sobriety isn't just about what you're leaving behind. It's about the life you're walking toward.
Welcome.

Women who found their way here
I found this community on a Tuesday morning when I was sitting in my car crying, not knowing if I could do this. Six months later I'm still here. Still sober. Still showing up.
I didn't want a program or a label. I just wanted to find women who understood. She Woke Up Sober was exactly that — no pressure, no judgment, just honesty.
The first 30 days I read every post in this community at 3am when I couldn't sleep. It kept me going. These women kept me going.
I was sober curious for two years before I finally committed. This community made me feel like I wasn't broken for taking so long to figure it out.
What I love most is that nobody here pretends sobriety is always beautiful. They tell the truth. And somehow that truth is what made me believe I could do it.
I relapsed twice before I found this community. Nobody made me feel ashamed. They just said — you're here now, that's what matters.
"You don't have to have it all figured out. You just have to wake up."
For every woman finding her way back to herself.
